Born in 1938, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Rahim Abdallah was graduated 1959 from Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University as second in his class.
In 1964 he established in Heliopolis his clinic, which quickly became the most professional clinic for Dermatology & Venereology in Heliopolis and subsequently in Egypt.
In 1966 he received his PhD (Doctorate degree) and became lecturer at Ain Shams University and became the Chairman of the department in 1990.
Prof. Abdel-Rahim Abdallah is regarded as the Guru of Dermatology in Egypt and the Middle East. He lectures in several top Medical Schools & Universities in Europe, USA and the Far East in addition to chairing several International Congresses.
Prof. Abdel-Rahim Abdallah is the holder of the prominent Gustav Riehl Prize from Germany for his advanced research in Medicine.
He is the author of the first Atlas of Dermatology in the Middle East & the Co-author of “Dermatology”, Bolongia, Jorizzo, Rapini et al. Mosby, 2003, 2007 & 2012”.
In 1999 with the help of Prof. Dr Marwa Abdallah, Cutis "The Skin Clinic" was founded as a nucleus for establishing the first Medical Institution for Skin Diseases & Cosmetic Services.
Work expanded in Heliopolis with opening branches and adding Consultants & Doctors, all trained and educated to the highest standard that Cutis stands for.
In 2006 A. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdallah took Cutis to another round of expansion both in size, technology and equipment used.
Laser treatments were then introduced in Egypt on a wide scale.
In 2008, Cutis became the most comprehensive, wide-ranged Dermatology Clinic in Egypt, offering many services and treatments together with the most up-todate techniques and became a school for Dermatology in Egypt.
In 2011 Cutis "The Skin Clinic" added new consultants and doctors and opened its branch in Mohandesin in late 2012 led by Dr. Marwa Asaad and reshaped its strategy with a clear new Vision & Mission.
